  1. Hello @LibreTraining Thank you very much for your extensive answer that did not only solve my issue, but taught me a lot too! Exactly what you've described in your edit was the case for me, MacOS preview converted the text to links, but couldn't handle the ligatures properly. I've opened the pdf in another application and the issue was gone, aka the text has not been converted to a link. A quick explanation what threw me off, so maybe someone else won't stumble over the same issue. I did try to add a hyperlink to the text, but after exporting and opening it with preview the same issue persisted, the links being cut short at the ligatures. But just now I realised that the checkbox 'Include hyperlinks' under the 'more' menu was unchecked, and after enabling it the links work as expected, with or without ligatures. Again, thank you very much!
  2. It seems it only breaks with certain fonts. It's broken with 'Noto Sans KR', but works with 'Inter'. I've attached the latest file. publisher_broken_link.afpub
  3. Hi, It seems that links that contain double letters are broken, for example: kartoffelstranger.xyz ends up as elstranger.xyz, however kartofelstranger.xyz (only one f) works as expected. If someone knows of a workaround for the time being, I'd be grateful~ I've attached an example file with the previous examples. MacOS: 11.5.1 Publisher: 1.10.4 publisher_broken_link.afpub
  4. Similar case here. I was doing something outside the app, and when I tabbed back into it, it was just gone. Luckily file recovery worked.crash.txt
  5. AP 1.10.2.260 the issue persists I guess it's not a high priority, though at least personally the issue seriously hinders my workflow.
  6. While I agree on that statement, I think the selection itself is still bugged. If by selecting the prior spread and making it the current spread, it should not select the image in the preceding spread but show the selection box in the upper one. Or if it's selecting it, the selection box should be around the image.
  7. Hi, When selecting images on a spread when starting the selection on the spread 'space' of the above spread, selection is bugged. Tho it selects the image, the selection box is on the spread above. Video 2 Starting the selection within the same spread 'space' it works as expected. 8. Hey Bruce, I've added the picture frame in AP myself. However I just found out what triggers the bug, but luckily also how to revert it. When the picture frame is selected and I move the view with spacebar and left mouse button, the size slider becomes bugged. Zooming in/out reverts the slider position to below the picture frame again. It seems to be a visual bug only, as I can still use the slider at its original position, even tho its drawn somewhere else. Screen Recording 2021-09-01 at 11.48.17 AM.mov
  9. Hello folks, It's not possible to resize a picture inside a picture frame through the overlay resize slider. MacOS 11.5.1 AP 1.10.1 Kartoffel Screen Recording 2021-08-31 at 7.17.19 PM.mov
  10. Indeed interesting, while pretty much the opposite, it still behaves wrongly from a UX perspective. I'm on MacOS with the lastest 10.0.1 version and had the same issue with 10.0.0, on Designer and Photo. Screen Recording 2021-08-26 at 6.12.13 PM.mov
  11. Heya folks, When I open an embedded document and close it again, Photo & Designer will jump to the first document in the tab list instead of the previously open document with the embedded document. It would be very welcome if it would go back to the original document with the embedded document. Working with multiple files open is a hassle. Kartoffel
  12. I'd love to get an update on that too, Korean language and line break seems broken in Affinity products. Here an example in Designer. It would be great if this could be fixed, it makes using the programs in Korea pretty much impossible. I've added an example image and the relating Designer file~ korean_line_break.afdesign
  13. Heya~ I'm using 1.10.0.251 - RC2, but didn't test on latest release version When you press ctrl+alt you can e.g. change brush size with moving the pen left or right and opacity by moving the pen up or down. Now if you rotate the canvas with cmd + scroll (still only works with touchpad and not with peripherals like mouse or pen...), the orientation of that tool changes too. If you rotate the canvas by 90º, changing the width will be up/down instead of left/right. If you rotate the canvas by 180º, instead of increasing the width of the brush by moving the pen right, it decreases the width. It renders this function pretty much useless when the canvas is rotated. small ps: it would be amazing having an actual rotation tool ㅠㅠ Best regards, kartoffel
  14. Did just that and the panels render properly! Thank you @Gabe
  15. Hi @Gabe External Monitor: 1366 x 768 Macbook: 2880 × 1800
  16. Hello~ Publisher 1.9.3 on macOS 11.3 (Big Sur latest) all the side panel tab names are blurry and hard to read. Edit: Moving Publisher from my macbook screen to my external monitor and back solved the issue. I realised that when starting Publisher, the application opens on my macbook but the start/splash screen appears on my external monitor which has a very low resolution. So I guess it takes the parameter for the panel names from that display. Interestingly this was the only issue I recognised, without looking closely tho. Regards, kartoffel
  17. Hi folks! I need to edit a rendering from Blender in Photo, however when I import the multilayered exr, all the layers are there but I can only see the top most layer in the viewport. Coming from C4D & Photoshop, I think the layer blends didn't work correctly? I was wondering if some of my settings are wrong, but all the resources about this topic I found simply open the files and it works (ignoring color mgmt.). I tried some other example exr files, but they have the same issue. Any help is more than welcome! kartoffel~ (Macbook Pro - OS X 11.2.3) I've added a small size quick render if anyone wants to test my file, and also two screenshots, how it is supposed to look (in Blender), and how it looks in Photo. untitled.exr
  18. +1 Just adding my voice to the chorus. It's a must have feature for a vector tool.
  19. Issue persists with the newest version. I also tried with the scrolling function of a huion and wacom tablet, but it's the same issue with the logitech mouse. Scroll rotation only works with the macbook touchpad, but not with any other peripheral...
  20. Hi @MEB Thanks for the quick answer. Use mouse wheel to zoom is unchecked. Toggling it doesn't help either.
  21. Hey folks! The function to rotate with CMD + scroll wheel on OSX for Designer and Photo seems to be broken for me. When pressing the CMD key and using the scroll wheel, nothing happens. However pressing the CMD key and using two finger scroll works. After using the two finger rotating, the mouse scroll wheel will always rotate the canvas, no matter if CMD is pressed or not. Only after scrolling on the touchpad with two fingers without pressing the CMD key, I can use the scroll wheel on the mouse normally again. However the CMD key plus scroll wheel still doesn't work as before. Restarting or even reinstalling the apps didn't change anything. OSX 10.15.7 (latest Catalina) and Logitech mouse M337 (up to date driver and firmware) Best regards~
  22. As stokerg wrote, just copy the text element which attributes you want (⌘ (cmd) + C), then paste the attributes on the text element you want to apply it (⇧ (shift) + ⌘ (cmd) + V). Works like a charm~
  23. Heya~ When moving around a grouped item, there are some artefacts remaining while moving it around. The moment you let go, the artefacts disappear too. https://vimeo.com/506643830 Best regards, Pascal edit: wrong category, it's not publisher beta, it's designer beta...
