Thanks Jon, not sure what the problem was. I installed everything I could find to do with Publisher and reinstalled it from scratch as opposed to an update and it is working. Also had an issue with Photo. The program was freezing while documents tried to load. But I've fixed that with a new install too. All seems to be fine now.
