I found a petition to make Affinity Animator a thing! If you sign it and maybe we can move mountains.

The design team told them that they won't change direction based on a petition.

which animation software do you think best compliment Affinity designer? I couldn't decide between animate or toonboom, are there better alternatives?
I like Clip Studio Paint EX for animation.

I go back for frame of reference when I need to, and I don't want to carry two workbooks around when I'm on the go. I already carry my tablet & GoPro around. I prefer a digital version of the workbooks. Understanding software is fine and all, but art is not my only hobby. It's good to have e-books in case I need to brush up.
Are we at the end of V1?

Request:
EPUB versions of the workbooks. This will help keep us up to date when the software is updated, for those of us that bought the workbooks.
Why it's important?
Let's say a few years down the road you guys have updated all the software and added a lot more features; the workbooks won't cover these changes, but a EPUB or PDF adaptation could be updated and it could be provided to registered accounts that have bought the workbooks already. I also would like the ability to have the content on my computer or phone, rather than having to lug around workbooks.
- Shipping of the workbooks to people in different parts of the world can be limiting. An epub or .pdf version eliminates that barrier.
- Easier to update the books as needed.
- You save on printing & shipping costs.
- Less stuff to carry around.
- Environmentally friendly.
- Quicker access.

I'm KD. I grew up using Adobe and I stopped using it in 2013. I have too many hobbies and too many professional licenses to renew on biannual time frames...
What I'd like to see:
e-book versions of your textbooks (I carry my GoPro, my drawing tablets, and my laptop... I don't need to lug around 3 books too)
Animation timelines in Affinity Designer. (Not that important, I can just use Clip Studio Paint EX)
If Affinity suite ever goes to a cloud subscription model, then I will drop it pretty quick. A rather steeply priced lifetime pass would be attractive.
Buying software makes me feel good. I still prefer it without subscription models, and I don't want it to feel like I need to buy a new version every 6 months. (See: Call of Duty or iPhones)
Right now, Affinity's payment model is fine how it is-- but consider offering a lifetime pass for a lump sum.
I dropped Adobe, Ableton Live, and most subscription software because of the cloud subscriptions--- Yeah, I pay for Netflix and streaming services, but do I really have a choice?
I already have subscriptions in my profession--Don't want any more. Solution? Lifetime passes.
