But there is NO pen tool type selecion there..... We just CANT combine 2 or more pen tool shapes in to one selecion..... To do this I have to go around creating many separate shapes with a pen tool, then merge them and only then select those merged shapes and use them as a selection ... it's so annoying.

I hope they will add this option someday to....

It is a pity that you cannot combine the selection with the new pen-tool shape into the new selection ... it limits my work. I hope creators team will add this possibility someday. Thanks DWright for reply

(I apologize for my English. It is not my native language) PEN TOOL: I looked everywhere but I can't find a shortcut that allows us to turn our pen tool path into a selection (e.g in photoshop it is ctrl + enter) so we can/must only use that button (top left corner)? Also when we having already create the selection and then make new shape with the pen tool, we are not able to add it to an already existing selection?...when we click one more time "selection" button we will lose our prior selection made. So i cant connect a new shape to an existing selection right? For example using freehand selection tool by clicking alt+ctrl we can add or remove our selection... if I am wrong please correct me.
