I think I've figured it out. Preferences/Performance/renderer . I changed graphics card being used by the program from Intel to GeForce 960M. That took away the dark muted issue, and now the color profile changes I make actually change the colors. Thanks for listening, and trying to help (with minimal help from me..) I appreciate you guys!!!

It doesn't matter what the ICC profile is. I've changed it several times and it changes all color settings on the system. It is only this program that has an issue.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to explain. It doesn't matter what file, graphic, or image I open in designer. It changes the colors of everything. I'm sure when you open this in your program, everything looks fine. On mine all of the colors are very dark and muted. It doesn't matter if I change color profiles in any part of the system. It doesn't change anything. My Hope was that someone else had experienced the same issues and the new what it would take to fix it. When I export the files, the colors are normal. What that gives me is a complete inability to design accurately without constantly exporting files to see the real colors.

Windows 10. I could upload a file, but it's every file. If your software isn't doing what mine is I don't know how you could see what's wrong, but I'm desperate. I'll give it a shot when I get to my computer.

I've had Designer for some time now, and initially it was great. At some point in time, something changed and now the colors I see on the screen are very dark. I've gone through every color setting in the software, but nothing seems to change it. I've attached a screen shot of the same file open in Designer and another software I use for sign making. PLEASE HELP!!! I really like the software, but it's been unusable for the last year since it started doing this. Thank you!
