  1. Independently from the light interface, I’d, too, ask for scalable Tool icons – it’s not sooo cool to use iPad Pro 12" with a magnifier lens …
  2. Hi, in the Help it is mentioned, that for .ai as well as .pdf “Multi-page files can be imported, with each page being placed on its own artboard” – probably Copy&paste from Affinity Designer? Can’t find any way to import the second page of a pdf.
  3. Have been out of office myself for a while. Still occurs with 1.7.0.145 … What I do precisely: I export a pdf – name is changed, not the designated name of the .afpub-file. Controlling the pdf I find some detail to alter, and again go to the export dialog. When the folder to save into is shown, I click on the formerly exported pdf to adopt its file name. Then the error occurs often, though not all the time.
  4. Hi, first of all thanks for your efforts! I can reproduce a crash on Mac (OS X 10.11.6), when I try to export a pdf-file replacing an existing one of the same name in the target directory. By the way: Why do I have to confirm a second time when exporting „allow access to the folder to export multiple files“? I just want a single pdf with one page of content. Seems buggy, too: Trying to export a second pdf with a different name doesn’t ask for the confirmation – but does not export either.
  5. Hi, working on a large format file (4 to 3 m), exporting takes some time, naturally. Is there any display (yet), on how far the export operation has progressed or (at least) which exports have finished and which are still in queue? As meanwhile the dimension of the final print was altered to 1.6 to 1.2 m I’d like to change the file dimension as well, but, alas doing this by “document setup” does not scale the effects. Any workaround for that?
  6. There is a Mac OS feature implied in many programms to access some handling of the document file via the titlebar of the document’s window within a software. By cmd-click on the name you see the full path of the file’s location and you can drag and drop the icon shown just like you can drag and drop the document’s icon in finder. So you can grab it and b.e. drop it to a finder folder visible in the background or place it in another open document window (if the target software allows drag and drop placement). Even easier to handle when using in combination with the programm switch (cmd-tab) or mission control. Neither is possible in AffDes yet – no icon is displyed, and nothing shown by command-clicking onto the name. I’d be happy to see this feature implemented in future! (attachment shows pop up path display when document name is cmd-clicked in Text Edit)
  7. When an effect had the „scale with object“ option set to yes, and later on you decide not (further) to scale it with the object and toggle the option off, the values are set back to the original values – I’d love another button to keep the actual scaling when turning the option off.
  8. I’d like to talk again about the first subject of this topic: I just had some point where I was uncertain about the proportions of a placed image though I use the shift key without even thinking when resizing sensitive objects. I thought it could have to do with changing between Draw and Pixel Persona so I was not yet ready to write a reliable, reconstructable bug report. From the linked topic I understand that the shift-key is not reliable to keep proportions as they were, au contraire on objects with “inverted constrained behaviour” it even kills the original proportions. I would really urge you to reconsider this “feature”! Please use two different keys; SHIFT to keep original proportions, and any other to break up from original proportions. It will keep us users from stretching something undesired and unnoticed.
  9. When working on a vector drawing with lots of elements it is usefull to lock Cmd-L those you do not want to touch right now. I got a bit struck and first thought it was bug that CMD-SHIFT-L doesn’t set those elements free again. I understand now, that you still can select the element in the Layer list and use CMD-SHIFT-L then, but to avoid scrolling through a list of several hundred elements it would be nice to have an „Unlock all“ command in the menu. I think, this should apply only to objects (elements), not to layers – what is the opinion of other highly valued foristi?
  10. +1 here – and you might prepare in the German version to come even exchanging the point with a comma for displaying numbers.
