Thank you , I appreciate your help on this and I have pinged those files over to you. ... just so I understand, are you suggesting working from the desktop each day and then saving back on to server i.e.: at the end of each day? Also then, can the image links be kept on the server? Or does the whole links folder also need to be on desk top... I am just confused as Indesign didn't struggle with working in this way so it seems counter intuitive given typical methods of professional working methods.... would love your thoughts. It's helpful to understand the whys behind the problems in any case so thank you for any insight....
  2. Hi Walt, thanks so much for responding. The file is confidential as it contains Client data. Is there a way I can share privately please? I am a Mac OS user and I save files to my server. This is a standard procedure and I am sure Affinity does not expect professional users to store files internally.
  3. Hi there. I am new to Affinity. I created a file on publisher yesterday. Today, I am trying to open it and says file type not supported....this is impossible as it was created in affinity. what is going on please?
  4. Hello @John Rostron, thanks for getting back to me. The error message says: Failed to load document (name of file) The document appears to be corrupted. The document must now be closed. Yes I have updated versions of affinity publisher (1.8.6) I am using Mac OS Big Sur (11.1) Thanks so much, Claire
  5. Hello, my affinity file has corrupted with no warning. I don't know what to do. I have recently changed to affinity from indesign and this has not happened to me before.... is there anything you can do to help me please?
