  1. Is it possible to view the outline of text frames when viewing a document in wireframe mode? I don't want to add an outline to the text frames. I just want to be able to see where they are in wireframe mode. If this isn't possible can I propose it as a feature request?
  2. Copying Affinity Designer has worked for me. Before the original app took 20 + bounces in the dock to open. Now the copy launches in 2 to 3 seconds on an M1 Mac mini. After confirming the app was working I deleted the original and renamed the copy to 'Affinity Designer'. Haven't tried copying Affinity Photo yet.
  3. I made a duplicate of the Affinity Designer app as suggested on a different thread. The copy does seem to start up quickly after the first launch. Once I confirmed the copied app was working I deleted the original and renamed the copy from 'Affinity Designer copy' to 'Affinity Designer'. A solution for now?
  4. The Affinity apps are M1 native so don't use Rosetta. Launch is quicker if you quit and relaunch after the first launch, but wait a while and the slow launch returns.
  5. Didn't restart, but just launched Designer again after an hour. Same result; 20+ bounces in the dock before launch. How was this not fixed with the latest release?
  6. Updated to Big Sur 11.2 yesterday. Just installed the 1.9 updates for all three Affinity apps on my Mac mini M1. Publisher is from the Affinity website and now loads quickly. Designer and Photo are both from the App Store and still take 20+ bounces in the dock to launch. Subsequent launches are quick. I will try the launches again later after a restart to see if that makes any difference.
  7. Draw a random curved shape and add a fill with no outline. Select the Artboard tool. Choose Size: Selection. Click 'Insert Artboard'. Zoom in on any of the edges of the object. The Artboard is offset to the top and left by 0.1mm. The shape bleeds off the Artboard at the bottom and right by 0.1mm.
