I just upgraded to v2 mainly so I can leverage the scripting/extension API when it comes out. Very excited about this news! We are going to see some amazing new things when developers can drive Affinity's awesome engine with their own unique ideas. -
Selecting Parent groups faster

Yes, this would be very helpful. Even if the only way to access the "select parent" function were to bind a keyboard shortcut, I would use it all the time.
