hello again!
i followed the video below and it was successful. but then i tried another sample to trace and had a problem.
i want to know how to fix this when creating nodes with the pen tool (screenshot attached) so that the curve isn't tangled like that. is there a button to flip it?
once again. thank you!

How would an Affinity application on Windows know that you'd purchased the application from the Mac App Store?
my idea was to convert the license so it only worked in one os. i'm not talking about stores besides the serif store.

At the moment I would not hold your breath for a Linux release.
ok. anyway, i knew that it is not something they plan to do anytime soon.

hello everyone!
i'm trying this tuturial and when i'm creating the first guide line (with the pen tool) and applying a color overlay effect to the layer, the line isn't appearing. it only appears when selecting it with the node tool.
i've tried to follow this guide line part twice. but the result is the same: no color.
do you know how to fix it?
thank you in advance

i'm not sure the heating engineer example is the same general thing
i also wonder why it is not possible to easily allow one license per purchase for whichever platform
too bad there are just two options which are serif and adobe. but of course it is very good that serif is an alternative to adobe to some degree.
i'm not very familiar with graphics creation but still use affinity photo for exporting photos at this point.
my original question meant to just get the answer about linux conversion.....
thank you

so maybe the best idea is to make the licenses not dependent on os's but on the number of users. i mean a cross platform licenses

People who purchase a licence for one of the existing platforms (Mac, Windows, or iPad) have to make a new purchase if they switch to a different platform, so why should we expect the licence for a Linux version not to work the same way?
it's not that i can choose not to buy for linux. it wasn't available at first place. i would've bought the linux version if i just had the option.
just wondered. i think it is a fair solution for the mostly linux users that can't choose otherwise at the moment.
maybe it's only me thinking this way

1. ok!
2. i'm also wondering why it is not an option.
thank you for the ideas.

thanks!!

thanks you very much!
1. when zooming in the lines disappear. it like a bug or something. does using preferences>performance settings can fix this? i'm using the latest windows 10.
2. why isn't there a way to allow a one layer with a sketch? i'm just wondering. i've heard that in illustrator it is different.
3. i will make a try to see how it is with light ui.

hi
i'm not sure why i get these marked lines (see image) between shapes.

i don't have a stroke but still seeing it.
i also want to ask if there is a way to sketch with a pencil without creating a new layer for each stroke of pencil.
my third questions is about the ui. there isn't much contrast in different panels as shown in the second image (like i can't see shadows of layers previews easily). is there a way to fix that too so that the curves previews will be easier to be seen?

thanks

thank you, aren't there some companies that can sell the technology that can allow to solve this issue for serif?

why is it so hard to support RTL languages?
thank you
