Dear All, I DEEPLY appreciate your help, as I am new to this application. I changed the language to "USA English" and I changed the font to "Default" Attached images. The problem with the incomplete "p" has been resolved (see attached image) but the white stripe still shows up. Thanks to all for your interest. Claudio

Hi There, I purchased Affinity Designer for my Mac recently. I noticed that it shows a white rectangle in the lower left corner of the Layer Effects window. Also, the letter "p" is shown incomplete in the unit windows (see attache screenshot). What should I do? Thanks for your help. Claudio

You are right, I have not realized that the letter "p" is incomplete. But I have no idea where to send this issue within Affinity company, perhaps they could help.... Thanks again

Thanks Chris, I selected "INCLUDE BACKGROUND" ***Actually I resolved the problem. I saved the pattern as a PDF file, then I opened it, and exported it as a PNG....no more white lines! I know it is a two-step procedure, but it works for me. Thank you for your help.

Hi There, I am creating a pattern which I export as a PNG file, but I always get white lines that I do not want. I wonder if you guys can help me to resolve this issue? I attached the PNG files The square has a fill but without stroke......and still shows a white line.... Thanks Claudio

Hi There, I purchased Affinity Designer a few weeks ago, and as I am learning to use it, I noticed a white strip in the left lower corner of the window, almost blocking the option "scale with object" I can send you a screenshot if needed.... Any idea how to fix it? Thank you Claudio
