  1. See how the extra strokes on either side of the middle (beige) one have different color palettes? Is there a way to recreate this in Affinity designer? I know how to stack strokes on top of each other with the "appearance" menu, but I can't seem to come up with a way to color the strokes with a different color on either side. Help?
  2. It looks like a bunch of different colored shadows stacked on top of each other, but I don't really know how to do this in affinity designer.
  3. Thank you! That partly solved my problem! Now I need to do something with this "hook" ugh... I created it through masking, but the "erase" blending option doesn't seem to be working with masked objects... we.afdesign
  4. I was wondering if it's possible to create a selection around an object and clear everything that's under it. I've included a screenshot to illustrate what I mean. It's easy to do on solid backgrounds because I can just adjust the color of the stroke, but what if I'm using a gradient background, or an image? I've tried expanding the stroke and using the "subtract" boolean operator, but it doesn't seem to be working that well. Any Affinity designer geniuses out there who could help me? This is the effect I'm trying to achieve.
  5. Yeah I did not use stroke or color for the shape but the lines are still there. This also happens when I align two squares, for example, side by side. Idk. Anyways, thank you for the help
  6. See how the letter E wraps around the W, almost like a hook? I spent like a solid 20 minutes, trying to figure out how to do this. As you can see, I just created a new layer with that hook part of the letter E and placed it on top of the W. Is there a more efficient way to achieve this "wrap around" effect without that weird layering technique I used? A total beginner here😬 WILDe Logo.afdesign
  7. I wanted to check out the tutorial videos on the affinity website but none of the pages seems to have an actual video player, just a blank space where the video player is supposed to be. Does anyone know where else I can access the tutorial videos?
