Thank you Garry!
By "live", I mean that, as my students provide ideas, I can make a list on a document. I can prepare a math worksheet on a document and demonstrate an operation. I can set up a game on a document and
manipulate the document as we play the game. Sometimes I like to have a document with information covered by a solid square or rectangle so I can slide it away at the right time. Here's the simplest example... if
the document had a tic tac toe grid draw on it... I could have the Xs and the Os pre-made and off to the side... when a student took a turn, I could slide their X into place. Intaglio, which does not work in Mac OS Big
Sur, was perfect for these "live" documents because you didn't get all the blue lines, guides, tabs, handles, etc. I think I will eventually like Affinity because you can do SO MUCH more with it.
I will LOVE it if I can turn off all that in formation.
