The mesh warp tool will do it. A very quick try so maybe not perfect.

If you're on a PC might be easier to create a New View and float the window. The zoom in in one window. I have 2 screens though which makes this easier.

He probably means tone mapping, which is part of the HDR treatment.

Is hardware acceleration on? If so try turning it off. Edit->Preferences->Performance. Updating graphics drivers with a clean install may also help.

What colour settings do you have in affinity?

If its not hardware acceleration it might be conflict with something else

Other problems seem to happen if your files are on a NAS or cloud.

Also try a clean reinstall of the graphics drivers. There was a recent update of the Nvidia drivers.

Is your monitor too bright? It may not match your viewing light. And your white point?
