  1. Finally, someone with an answer after 3 months of owning your unusable software! Now I wonder how affinity couldnt just say where the code was pointing to 3 months ago if it was that simple?
  2. I acces this by going to Go>Computer>User>Library and that’s as far as I get..
  3. As you can see on the bottom image above, I dont even have a 'containers' folder in my 'Library' folder. Im starting to grow tired of this software and Ive not even produced one job from it yet. I literally fell at the first hurdle of setting up the document colour profile and I'm less than impressed to be honest. Maybe Adobe is the better software after all?
  4. Hi Gabe, Neither of your solutions work for me as none of the folders have been created in either of the locations you have suggested.. I am starting to get a little frustrated now considering Ive owned this software for 3 months now and still I cannot import or use custom ICC profiles forcing me to continue my adobe subscription. When is the next update going to come?
  5. Hi guys, Ive noticed that if you set up a custom preset for print export, it doesnt appear in the preset dropdown for the file type you wish to export. This means you still have to click 'more' and then select your custom profile from that dropdown whereas it would be much better to do this from the main dropdown without having to go into a separate menu. It shouldnt be hard to categorise the presets so custom profiles for each file type appear in the first dropdown box alongside the stock presets. The fact you even select 'file type' in the preset manager should automatically add it to the dropdown in the main export screen. Please see below for images. This is the second instance of poor programming/software design I have now come across since having this software for only 2 months. Im sure it wont be the last..
  6. Im starting to wonder the same. Thinking of just jumping back to Adobe as it seems Affinity lack the ability to develop their software competently and address major issues with their software in good time when their competence fails them. Being that Big Sur was released almost two months ago now, it really isn't acceptable that this hasn't been addressed and fixed in my opinion. I paid for the software expecting great things and have fallen at the first hurdle considering I cant even produce press ready files for my clients and suppliers. Now 100 quid out of pocket and left with software that is unusable for almost 2 months now, it's safe to say I am not impressed in the slightest. If they want to compete with Adobe, they have a hell of a lot of work to do on both the development side and the customer support side. It really needs to be better than this.. Can you give me an update and timeframe as to when we can expect a fix please?
  7. Hi Ben, I believe this is the workaround for Adobe photo, however this option isnt available in Designer or Publisher unfortunately. Unless someone can tell me different?
  8. Perfect, hopefully this will allow me to get what I need to do finished and sent to my printer. I am a solo designer so yes, im the only person using the license and have a macbook and desktop mac so would be nice to have it on both. Thanks for your help and please keep me posted on the ICC profile bug.
  9. Can I load this software onto another Mac running the previous OS as a workaround? How many macs will this license work on?
  10. Afternoon @MEB, any progress or information on ICC profiles not being picked up? This is integral to my business operation to ensure consistency through branding and was hoping to export some files for production today. Please let me know when we can expect an update that can rectify this issue.
  11. Yes, I did all of this and turns out its a bug as mod mentioned below. Hopefully they will have a fix soon otherwise I'll jump back to Adobe for now as this is integral to my workflow. Do these document settings look okay to you? And then I would export using my ICC profiles once they work in the Export menu shown below? If you wouldnt mind sharing your document and export settings for digital printing that would be great? Thanks for your help so far!
  12. Problem also persisting in Designer! When setting up a new document, none of my profiles are showing..
  13. @BofG I have downloaded the ICC profiles and have dropped them in the correct location however AD doesnt seem to be picking them up. Can you assist with this at all? Please see below for images
