I bought a pack of EPS lens flares from Depositphotos. I REALLY want them. However, I downloaded the file and while the letters saying what was included were in layers, the flares themselves are in a single image and can't be extracted in AD. I have since discovered (right here in the forums, that this is an ongoing issue). However, since I'd already purchased them and it hadn't stated that the EPS files were specifically for AI or Corel Draw, Depositphotos agreed to help me out. They sent me an AI file (useless to me) an EPS file (still useless since the flares are in the single image), an SVG file, and a PDF file. This was kind of them, but it still doesn't help me as I can't figure out how to *use* them. I can't simply copy them to single png files as they are embedded. Does anyone know how I can isolate them? (I've tried tonal extraction but it's not satisfactory). *tears more hair out* TIA!

The trees (especially the cone trees and the mushroom trees) are very Suessian. Fabulous work.

@GarryP Acceleration doesn't appear to make any difference. @anto You're quite right. It doesn't occur without bleeds. The bleeds can be altered in Document Setup and yes, they can be altered post setup as well.

In AD Pixel persona, every time I make a marquee selection (for all docs, including new) when I take my finger off to complete selection, the marquee jumps up and to the left (see screenshot for example). operating system and version Windows 10 hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON or OFF ? Default (a search doesn't show any Preferences. I'm clearly looking in the wrong place. What happened for you. I expected the marquee selection area in Pixel Persona to remain where I put it, but when I removed my finger the target area jumps up and to the left. Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did). Use marquee tool in Pixel Persona and select an object/area. Remove finger. Voila! Selection jumps. Screenshots See below (default grid added to show the amount of movement) Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers. No. Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware). Have just recently begun using AD.

Considering your advice, I did some more research on the genre and discovered splashes and paint runs were well liked. So, with some stippling and splashes added...I like it more. Thanks!

Have you never owned a dog? I assume not otherwise you would have likely recognised straight away that the dog had knocked the dude into the mud and then walked all over 'em (hence the muddy 'paw prints').🤣 At least, that's my take on it.

Skimming @dannyg9's Skin Art Magazine 177 design, I thought I'd try my hand at a Trash Polka tattoo design. All white area is transparent (including the typography). Suggestions for composition improvement would be appreciated.
