With the very basic select copy/cut paste not functioning in Afinity as it does in practically all other image editing programs, would suggest that the developers are for some reason ignoring standard software mapping and usability/intuitive working in Affinity Photo, which is a big annoyance and let down, and makes no sense

Ah yeah I think I was on the colour replacement tool, the default of the constantly cycling tools, under the brush was finally overcome by turning on the shift option, I'd suggest make that the default and make it easier for people starting out, instead of having to keep cycling through tools whenever switching between brush and eraser

standard in Affinity only perhaps, and why there is no way to turn it off, I am on a Mac not iPad with a full key board for short cuts, how do I stop this annoying random changing of tolerance for tools that normally (in all other apps to my knowledge) have no tolerance, why does the brush tool even have tolerance, it would be nice if it just stayed a normal brush

ideally can be turned off so the user can stick to standard ways of using tolerance if they desire

Tolerance keeps randomly changing, has anyone else had this issue

you copy everything else from Adobe why not also things like transform handles on selections and cropping, as these are things that will be used a lot so really adds a lot of extra clicking and filling to the work flow
