This morning, my Affinity Photo is displaying the same freezing on "New" projects as before. I re-installed my drivers for my Nvidia GPU, but no fix this time. The location listed for "crash reports" is empty- there are no files in that folder. (???) Attached is a snap of my device manager and GPU drivers. I assume the marked ones are what you were talking about. I did not replace the Intel drivers. LT

Re-installing my Nvidia drivers seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you, very much- I appreciate your help. LT

Thanks for your response, Richard. I tried your suggestion- it didn't seem to change everything. When this happens, it's right after I try to create a new project. The mouse still moves my cursor arrow around the screen, but nothing else functions at all in Photo. If I open a saved project, I can edit away all I want, but I just can't start a new project, even from the saved project. if I do, it just goes dead when I do that. LT

Following a recent update to rev 1.10.5.1342 to Photo, every time I try to create a new project, Photo freezes. I have to end task with task manager. The only way I can use the program is to open an old program and save it as something else. If I try to create a new project in that save, it will freeze again. This has been a problem in the past, then it went away, but now it's back. I can't create any new formats. I can only use ones that have been saved. LT
