  1. On a related note, I have the v2 MSIX installation, however I'd like to replace it with the MSI installers. I don't want to lose any of my studios/settings though, so I'm wondering where these configurations are saved that way I can copy them over to the new MSI location?
  2. As someone who bought v1 a few years back, I read and understood the license terms. I knew I would be paying for major updates, and now that the time has come I'm more than pleased with the -40% discount. Even if I was paying full-retail, this software would still be worth the asking price. I bought v1 on-sale ($35x3), so buying v2 for $99 comes out to being about the same as what I paid for v1. Hopefully this fresh wave of revenue will provide the fuel needed to continue pushing forward. I'm excited for incoming updates and what v3 will eventually bring!
  3. Thanks for the replies, the main reason I'd like to do this is because using Photo2.exe and the Photo persona from Publisher means I'm juggling 2 different configurations (studio presets, settings, etc) for the same program. I'll save a studio preset in Photo2.exe, but then when I go into the Photo persona from Publisher that preset never existed. I was hoping to stop using Photo2.exe and only use the Photo persona, that way I'm not juggling configurations between the two. Hopefully this feature gets added, but until then I think I'll just adjust my perspective so that I'm not thinking of them as 3 separate programs, but instead there's just a single "Affinity" program with 3 different personas. Publisher just happens to be the one that is loaded on start-up.
  4. Hello, I enjoy the Studio Link feature of Affinity, but I don't understand why it's only available through Publisher. I only use Photo and Designer, so I'm wondering if there is an argument/flag that I can pass when calling Publisher so that it will start in the Photo persona instead of defaulting in the Publisher persona. Something like... ...\Publisher2.exe -photo ".\image.png" Any tips? If not, is there something I'm missing in Photo that can provide me a Studio Link type feature across the 3 programs? Edit: I did find the File>Edit in Designer option in Photo2, but it's not quite as seamless as Studio Link since it launches an instance of Designer. Still looking for a flag to start Publisher in the Photo persona.
  5. The issues described is in a previous thread for version 1.7.3.481 continue to be applicable for version 1.8.5.703
  6. Since a user can change the icons themselves, I definitely don't see it as an issue to let the publisher choose it themselves. That said, lots of cool designs in this thread, but none of them are in a decent format for actually putting to use without first removing backgrounds and such. None of you want your work to actually be used or something?
