Why in the F-ig F-s is there a white line on the edges of a design???? Just make a new document at 300dpi with artboard of 50x50mm, and draw a black sqare in it. Working in mm with pixel alignment ON or off gives same results.. switching to pixel dimensions, the artboards always have .5 or .6 pixels extra. IF PIXEL ALIGMENT IS ON, why the F does it ignore it?? Switching off, gives the same result. This app is the ONLY app that gives this problem. I already regret spending money and time to learn to use this app.. Updates and fixes come 1/year.. The text preview isn't fixed since Big Sur update, and that was quite a long time ago..

Saw this too today.. What is pixel alignment? My pixel layers go way beyond the artboard boundaries, and yet when I switch to pixel preview, the left and right margins look pixelated (extending outside artboard 1 pixel.. what??)
Do I need to have that on when I create the new artboards? As after reading this comment, I turned it on, made a new AB, copy pasted the info from the other AB, and it looks ok..
However even after turning it on, and working in the "old" artboard, I still got the line, even after deleting the content of the AB and pasting content from the one with PA ON. I know this is the bugs section, but if the problem is already being discussed I might as well just ask.

It's an Affinity issue, as other apps work just fine. And it's annoying as FK! Especially when I try to see which font works the best (and I use this every day, multiple times...)

Since the Big Sur update, the font preview isn't working. It works the first time, then completely stops. Until then if I had a word selected, and browsed through the font library it previewed the word with the font I was hovering on. Now after 1-2 uses of this feature, it stops completely. Hitting up down arrow works, but the selection won't follow the mouse cursor anymore. I don't get this in photoshop.. only in Designer. Is there a fix for this?

I know that if you don't have a full number, a white line will (or may) appear, but what I don't understand is WHY DID THE APP CREATE THE FIRST artboard misaligned?... the hell did it move it to Y: 0.1mm? ... I didn't notice, because I selected the rectangle which I had created instead of the artboard.
Like I said, I just punched in 50mm new document w artboard. Didn't move anything. 1st was created (badly as it seems!) and the rest i just duplicated and moved by myself.
