  1. Had the same issue today (late 2023). Opening Affinity Designer worked fine, but opening a document or creating a new one simply closes the software. Tried resetting, as Dan C above suggested - didn't help. Tried reinstalling (including a complete uninstall, restart, install, restart) - didn't help. SOLUTION: Then tried Kamatรถs's approach of updating the GPU driver - WORKED ๐Ÿ˜„ (running a RTX 2060 super; driver from 08/2023 was installed and caused the problems, driver from 10/2023 works fine now). Thx a lot!
  2. Hi @stokerg, thank you - that did it for my XP Pen ๐Ÿ™‚ However, still the same behavior with my mouse - also any idea here? ๐Ÿ™‚ thank you! David
  3. Hi Stokerg, I'm running Windows 10, and the latest Version of Affinity Photo (1.8.5.703) I recorded a little Video to show you what I mean - please find it attached. thank you! David Affinity.mp4
  4. Hi everyone, I'm quite new to Affinity Photo and there's a thing that's really annoying: When I use the brush to draw a line, I ususally do this: Click -> Move -> Line appears Now, here's what it's like with Affinity Photo: Click -> Move some pixels... nothing happens... -> move some more pixels -> Line appears. It feels like Affinity doesn't trust my mouse stability, like... "Let's see if his movement is a wanted movement or if he's just wabbling with his hand, because he's an old man". That makes it quite hard to paint lines that are very short. Also, when I use my XP Pen to draw, it's hard, as don't instantly see where my line is going. I hope this is just a setting - can someone please help? Thx! David
