And here you can see I have tried to select the text wrapping option for each image, but it has no effect on the text inside the table.

Here's a screen shot of my table, with text and images. As you can see, the text in the table cells does not wrap around any of the images.

I also want to do this, exactly as the original poster described. I am making game cards, and I have a table designed to fit exactly on a printed sheet of paper. Inside each cell is some text, and inside some (most) of the cells are also images that relate to the text. I want the text to wrap around the images. How do I do this?

In the Tables panel, there is a Rotation section. I can rotate the text inside a table to be vertical bottom-to-top, top-to-bottom, or upside down. Maybe this will work for you?
