    Apologies for the delay here!

I have replicated this curve on desktop and I required a Mitre value of 14 to show the full point - however I can see that the iPad app is limited to a mitre limit of 10.

I'm unsure for the reason of this limit, though I have requested more information from our developers. Unfortunately I'm yet to receive a response (hence the delayed response here) but I will be sure to update this thread with any further information I am provided. :)

Thanks again Dan, please let me know if you hear back from the dev team.

    Hi @swainboi,

Try increasing the Mitre Limit to be above 2, below the Align options for the stroke. Does the 'sharp' node now show please? :)

Hi Dan, thanks for your reply! That certainly did the trick for my purposes, thanks. I’ll have to read up on the mitre limit more.

It appears there are angles that won’t sharpen, even with the mitre limit turned all the way up, however. Perhaps this is due to the thickness of the stroke? Thanks again!

  3. Hello! I’m following along with the latest Affinity sessions for vector portraits. I’m having a hard time getting my paths to be as razor sharp as the instructors. I’ve looked at the advanced stroke settings and nothing seems to work. I’ve included two screenshots from the video showing what I would like to do, and a screenshot of what I get.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

  4. Hello everyone!

I recently purchased the Affinity Suite and am very much a novice with vector programs (but having a lot of fun learning!).

What I'm trying to do seems very simple, but after an hour of Googling and trying things, I still can not figure out how to fill in the area between two, non-intersecting curves in Designer. I saw a solution here that seems related, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I've attached a photo illustrating what I'm trying to achieve.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
