  1. As @NotMyFault says, the develop and tone mapping tools aren't edge aware so the left hand and right hand sides of a "flat" 360 image are processed differently and result in the seam. I was hoping that Serif might have worked on this for V2 but unfortunately it appears not - it should be relatively easy for them to do. Technically there is a workaround - if you watch this video it shows you how to do in in photoshop - what we need as a minimum is a similar script in Affinity Photo.
  2. It is a problem whenever you use any tone mapping or develop features in Affinity. It is not edge aware and doesn't work with 360 images. The method mentioned in this post works, but it is at best an awkward process and adds a lot to the workflow. I really wish there was an easier method.
  3. There must be a lot of us editing 360 panos and having this problem. The live equirectangular projection in the Photo mode is brilliant for touching up and sorting out the Nadir and must already have won Serif a lot of business. With Adobe dropping their support for Spherical Panoramas in Photoshop this is a real opportunity for Serif to win even more customers. Ideally we need to be able to tick a button to say we want our editing to be edge aware and effectively wrap around the left hand and right hand side during any develop/tone mapping operations, but even some good well written macros (beyond me) should be able to resize things, add 10% of the left of the image to the right, 10% of the right of the image to the left - allow us to edit and then, when complete, strip off these extra areas and resize back to the original. I can do all of this manually, but its a hell of a workflow when editing a series of panos - automating it would make Affinity Photo a real winner, but so far seems to have fallen on deaf ears with the developers.
  4. Exactly the same problem here following an update to Windows 10.0.19041 Build 19041 Affinity Photo wouldn't start, so I removed it and tried to re-install - and the installer wouldn't even run. Changing the device profile got me running again.
