right that is what was so odd about it … and in the end when I caved and downloaded the beta everything was there … just sucks that I have to use the beta for any work with brushes (be they vector or raster) such a weird glitch I got

all my brushes in affinity designer 2 are gone on my iPad I was able to work around this by downloading the beta but I do not understand what happened or how to fix it ... I have... ~ uninstalled and reinstalled the software ~ uninstalled and reinstalled brushes and purchased packs to the best of my ability I have no idea what happened or what I did ... does anyone know how to reset this ???

I have this problem too, I have tried so many setting issues and svg never works, layers are missing art boards dont open properly, what good is svg if you only save half the file. not to mention I cannot even export simple svg for use with a cricut machine. I know sometimes fonts are missing and that can be an issue but that should be easily correctable and it never is … I have tried every save setting configuration I can think of and it still never works.

here is my question … how come you cannot rename a new document … everything is untitled and I can’t find where to rename the files … that is my own personal annoyance someone just tell me where that is please 🙏

This is going to sound weird but when I go to open a design file on my ipad it opens in photo?? is there a reason for this? the files were both created and stored on my ipad (I do not have the desktop versions of the software because I do not have a computer only an ipad) shouldn’t the file be opening in affinity design if that is were I created the file? why would it open in affinity photo and how do I stop that from happening. I should also note that it only happens when I try to click open a file from the files app on ipad, if I am in designer then they open where they are supposed to. please someone explain why this happens.

this may have already be answered but I didn’t see it when I did a search. anyway my question is is there a recommended setting when exporting a pdf that would make the text editable for a client? I am using affinity designer for ipad. thank you for your help 😊

ok so I export eps for clients not all the time but when I do I need the resolution to stay the same as the document however no matter what I set the export resolution to on affinity designer for ipad it changes my resolution to 72 dpi and I need it at 300 minimum why is it doing this. it doesn’t matter what I settings I play with this always happens and I can’t have it doing that if I cannot export my art board at the right dpi this will not work for me what should I do??????
