I am interested in Affinity designer and photo, but am disappointed that it does not include RTL text support. Apple OSX offers this natively in its apps. I was expecting Affinity to also offer the same as it appears to . 
 
It might be helpful to look at some market numbers for Arabic, Hebrew and Farsi design. It is only expected to explode as one of the strongest emerging markets.

I'm sure this has been discussed many times here, but I can't find a forum that answers the question.
 
Using Photoshop, I would often paint a mask with the black/white brush. Toggling the X would allow me to add or subtract the mask.
 
I was using the brush in AP to paint the mask, but I see that you don't use white/black to invert the brush. So how do I paint back into the mask what I have already erased?

You must place the "masked" circle two above the adjustment1: desaturate, otherwise the adjustment1: desaturate will also affect the overlapping part of the circles.

It's not possible to change the default profile but you can select other profiles by going to Color Sliders and clicking the Cog next to the drop down menu:
 

 
 

It would be very useful to have functions to select the same:
 
Color fill stroke (color / width) Appearance To quickly select all your outlines, or background element in 1 color. 
Speed is everything.  :)

I would even argue that text baseline snapping is more critical for screen layouts. The whole Google material design approach uses typographic grids. I don't understand how people actually use AD for grid layouts and typography.
