I used the elliptical marquee tool to copy a person’s face from an image. I then pasted the result onto an image with a blue background. When I highlight the pasted elliptical object it is encased in a square.
I now want to make the background behind the person all white. I used the clone brush tool to try and do this.
I like to know why when cloning the white coloring goes past the elliptical object onto the square that it is encased in. Should not the cloning stop at the edge of the elliptical object?
The last photo shows how I like it to look. I did it in another photo editor.
