I agree, the color picker is still too fast. I believe the best way to deal with that would be a delay slider in the preferences with a range from "disabled" (no picker) to a few seconds delay.

When painting on a mask with the brush, could you add a quick way to pick black and white colors?
Lets say two direct tiny white and black selectors on the brush panel, below the color picker itself.

Modifier keys are badly implemented in my opinion.
For exemple using the paint brush, if I use modifier keys I don't have access to brush settings anymore since the panel is hidden. So this makes this feature almost useless.
Modifier keys panel should be a separate, pin lockable, panel.

Well I really hope that Photo matches Lightroom RAW development capabilities and image quality. Its not the case at this point, Photo's RAW processing is very basic and is far beyond LR or Capture One image quality wise (especially highlights/shadows recovery and clarity).

For photographers if you make RAW development as good as LR or C1 then many people will say goodbye to Adobe forever ;)

Holding down Space Bar does it temporarily, but a View > Hide Selection Edges command would be welcomed.

You ideally want to be making a 200 x 200 point document (not pixels) and setting 144 dpi. Now when you use the Export Persona make sure you've got the export set for 1x and 2x and now all your resources will go out with 1x and 2x versions with the correct number of pixels and dpi set in the files :)

Hope that helps - it's how we created the assets for the program itself and it's what Xcode expects when you drop the assets in :)

I'm sorry but Affinity Photo raw processing is very basic and way behind Capture One or Lightroom (camera raw).
I'm an intensive user of both of these programs and I ran several tests on AP and I can't even remotely catch image quality C1/LR provides.

Highlights recovery is awful, highlights/shadows adjustment makes ugly greyscales, clarity produces huge halos.

I purchased Affinity Photo that I beta tested because it's an awesome Photoshop replacement, in some areas it's even better than Photoshop. I want to move to AP for all my photography work but at this time I just can't process raw files with it. I really hope that raw processing has somewhat been left behind because of time constraints and that now the team will improve this part. If AP image quality matches LR or C1 I'm done with Adobe forever!
