  1. Hello Affinity, any news on this please? I have had to shift my business back to Photoshop because of this. I get exactly the same results as the images shown in late November. It's been over a month now, and this is starting to raise a question of whether Affinity is geared up to provide professional level support.
  2. Hi Biff, many thanks. Completely get that, and all the print workflow is well bedded in over a few years now, including turning off the soft proof layer before printing. I know that one's caught many people out! Thing is, it worked perfectly the day before Big Sur upgrade, and now not. It seems not to be registering the custom profiles at all when it comes to instructing the printer. I can get an approximation using sRBG or Adobe, but clearly that does not match the paper characteristics in the way that a custom calibrated paper profile does. Anyway, I think I'll just stick with PS for now - hopefully affinity read this and will look into it, with an update at some point
  3. I had copied profiles manually and confirm my earlier post having tried a few more times and checked everything else in the setup - even AP it thinks it has the profiles, what comes out of the printer is completely unusable - only about a third of the colours print. Tried the same print with PS and C1 and all fine.
  4. Hmmm .... I thought I had got round it with something similar but when I tried to print, the colours came out very strange and only half the colours printed. It could of course be something else in my setup and I will try and chase that down tomorrow, but it would be a bit of a coincidence for something else to fry itself at the same time, as it was working perfectly the day before I upgraded, and printing from Capture One still works fine. I wonder if it is not looking up the profile correctly? However, I will try again tomorrow, also via Photoshop and see if I can add any more info to help
  5. Many thanks - that is what it looks like from my perspective. Defaults are there, and if I open an image which has been soft proofed with one of the custom profiles, that particular one is picked up for that image only, but not elsewhere and none of the others are visible. Hope that bit of extra info is of some help.
  6. Same problem. Profiles all there in the colour sync library and working fine on Capture One, Photoshop etc. Since the update to Big Sur and 1.8.6 (wish I'd waited!) Affinity only picks up a small set of profiles and ignores all the custom ones painstakingly built over time. Restarting everything is no help.
