Cannot acquire image
Madame replied to gadabra's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Of course, thank you. -I forgot to write that. The problem is to know what level of computer knowledge the OP has. Any way, I don't think he's reading here now. -

I don't think you have to use Affinity to import pictures. You can use the card reader, and then the "open" dialog. Affinity isn't for organising pictures, but for editing. -
Thanks for the tutorial. I'm not a native english speaker, but I understand you very well.

Hi. I tried this. I made a new layer and cloned the other wing, and flipped the layer 90 degrees vertical. Used the transfer tool to fit it over the highlight. Used the Average blending mode to preserve the shadow/light. I added a mask and painted out part of the wing. And used the inpainting brush to get rid og the wing from the other bird. This is just a quick job, I'm sure you can do it better if you use more time.

Why textures looks terrible
Madame replied to iMacKalle's topic in Tutorials (Staff and Customer Created Tutorials)
I think you have misunderstood. Those pictures are someone else's. Most of us use our own pictures. Here are some resources from Affinity and members of the forum. You can also search internet for free pictures. -

As Aammppaa says, Affinity Revolution isn't part of this forum. However you can get in contact with him/them on facebook. I know the forum can be a little confusing at first. To start a new thread/question go to the Question part of the forum:
