there is a way to merge layers in vectors but they are not called merging. it's called ADDING vector with the Boolean function. you will see they appear still as vector but 'combined' and it is not rasterized.

so i notice the layers are not merged on the iPad version when you "merge selected" i tried with like for example 3 different lines, and when i chose "merge selected" they are still separate lines on separate boxes. is this just me. or? this is the latest update using iPad Pro. help ??
