    Hi ronnyb, I've put protection code to help with the issue for the next beta. However, like Leigh, I don't actually have any problem with the Font you have attached to this thread. Your crash report does show that there is a problem with that font - so any extra information is appreciated. Your system's language, Designer's language, OS X version etc. Does Apple's FontBook validate your font? A

    I'm surprise System > Preferences crashes! I guess that is one for Apple. Anyhow you can get around the issue by choosing English US in Designer's language setting for now. It's just an unfortunate side effect of us using British as our default english. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    This is actually a side effect of the Affinity apps being by default in British English. The preferred languages (English - English) actually uses the default English of the application not the system as it isn't base on Region. I could only get 'Default' to show US English only if I specifically chose (English (U.S) English (United States)): See attached screenshot.

    You are right. I don't think there is any way to currently tell if there is a Pantone colour applied to an object yet - we should probably put something in. :mellow:

    We aren't seeing the same issues of here. Can you check the console app the next time you make this happen and let us know what it reports for Designer.

    I'm afraid specific tool shortcuts like the brush tool shortcut aren't saved right now as we work out a few of the kinks. Sorry for the inconvenience but this should be fixed for the next beta.

    This is now fixed for the next beta. Yay, this should never have happened. British pixels are now gone in favour of just normal pixels for the next beta. This is actually a really good idea so I've implemented it into the next beta. :)
