  1. There's been a few font fixes since the MAS version so it might fix it.
  2. Pretty much what Miguel have already said, the conditions to get it to work is as follows: Apple Menu > System Preferences... > General > Close windows when quitting an app (unchecked) Affinity Menu > Preferences > Reopen document on Startup (checked) If that doesn't work for you, I suspect it could be the way you are closing the application. You must make sure that you are closing the application in its entirety, and not the document. This has to be done via Cmd+Q, or Affinity Menu > Quit. This tells the application you want to quit the application, with all documents opened. If you press the red cross button (in the top left of the window), or use Cmd+W, this will close the document which tells the application not to open it again. If you are doing all the steps above, then the best way to diagnose your issue is via a Quicktime Screen recording which can show us the 2 checkbox settings, and the actions you are doing which you can upload here, or send to us at support(at)seriflabs(dot)com. Hopefully this will show us exactly what might be going wrong. Thanks, Ad
  3. Hi Jim, The document palettes will be saved with the document, but you must reselect the palette in the swatches panel every time you load up. At the moment the Affinity products don't bring back the selected document palettes but I'm looking to improve on this soon. Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime. A
  4. Hah, yeah I should have explain myself more clearly. Holding ALT down is the proper way, so allowing the item to move to an empty subcategory was unintentional and that was the bug. We think having a modifier would prevent accidental rearrangement. :)
  5. I think this issue has now been fixed in development which you should get in the next beta.
  6. This is fixed in the latest beta now, will be release sometime this week I think. :) I'm moving this to the beta forum since this is a beta feature.
  7. It you go to Views -> Customise Tools -> Number of Columns -> 2 then it should be better. We should probably do something better though.
  8. Sorry about that. Can you specify exactly which keyboard layout you are using?
  9. The latest version 1.4.3 of Affinity have all the Sierra fixes and improvements. You can get this update from the Mac App Store.
  10. MEB, any chance of this making it into the 1.5 release? Ooops, was late answer this. Sorry MEB. :o The functionality has, er, cheekily sneaked in... you will find it in the next beta release tomorrow. :D You will need to turn it on in Preferences.
  11. This is good to know. Have you tried deleting Photo and reinstalling it from the App Store? You need to do this by opening the application folder, and drag Photo into the trashcan. Now empty your trash can. Open the App Store, go into the purchased tab, to redownload Photo again.
  12. Do you get the splash screen? If you get the crash report, you can post it here so we can take a look. Andy
  13. No worries. I don't think the guys mind, just find it humorous. ;)
  14. You're very welcome, but you really should start calling him Andy. :o  :P Andy
  15. There won't be any massive changes to Designer from now on. No new features nor major UI changes, just mainly bug fixes as we get it to a stable state for release in the near future. If you are lucky, I think Andy is releasing a new build of Photo later today with some fancy things in it...
  16. It's all the same crash. Thanks for the file, that will help greatly. Edit: You can change the autosave timer in Preference > Performance which will keep more of your changes per crash. Edit 2: If you can make a video of the procedure before a crash using QuickTime > New Movie recording, that would be good as it would give us more information.
  17. It should remember your last palette unless your palette you last selected is a document palette. In which case it might not be able to switch to it if the document being shown doesn't have that palette.
  18. Can you provide some more information why the shortcuts don't work in a greek keyboard layout? I'm assuming the menu shortcut work fine?
  19. On Mac you can change the Tooltip delay in Preferences > User Interface. The default is the Mac system's default.
  20. To be fair, no one knows what I do over here either - they haven't sussed out yet that I just walk around with a clipboard looking busy all day. Shhhhhh. ;)
