  1. If it will make you feel any better - this is already planned to go in at some point. :)
  2. @MEB - You're being too hard on yourself. :) @Andreas Larsen - This is now in for the next beta.
  3. Chinese should already be supported. Which font are you using and are you able to send us the file to: support@seriflabs.com
  4. Hi Andreas Larsen, This is a mac OSX behaviour that we were not honouring with the version from the App Store. That was very naughty of us and this behaviour is fixed for the beta, and now works like every other application from Apple. It is intended. To fixed this issue globally, you need to: - Click on your desktop. - Click on the Finder menu. - Click on Preferences... - Click on Advanced tab. - Make sure the check box for 'Show all filename extensions' is ticked. - You might need to restart your computer to see the effects. Edit: Just tried it in Photoshop and it ignores this OSX settings - both export and save. Edit 2: After a discussion with my colleagues, we've decided to add a preference to show the extension for saved and exported files. Hopefully that is acceptable to everyone. :)
  5. I've just fixed this and so it will be in the next beta release. As a work around, you can delete swatches fill when the application is in full screen mode (click the arrow at the top right of the app).
  6. I've just tried it on Mountain Lion and can confirm that it isn't working with the latest beta. :(
  7. Well, I'm happy that it's finally working as normal for you now. :)
  8. Can you also try the console application again before opening a document. Once opened, do Command-1 to make sure it is showing at a 100% zoom.
  9. Can you take a look at the file size of the newly save file that doesn't open properly? You can do this by right clicking on the file -> Get Info -> Size. Can you also hold down Ctrl when you start up the application to clear your settings just so it isn't a UI thing.
  10. So now you can save but can't open? At least through the open dialog?
  11. Can you try this? - Run the 'Console' application. - Click the 'Clear Display' button so we can see any error messages easily. - Run up 'Affinity Designer' application. - Try and do a save to your sub folders again. - Screenshot the console app and post it here, or email it to support@seriflabs.com Thanks Edit: How did you open your file? Is it by shortcut key or from the menu. Likewise with the Save, did you use shortcut key or from the menu? Save or Save As?
  12. It's just a big chunk of work and a lot typing. ;) But it is on the list and it will be in the apps in the near future.
  13. Nice Work Indeed! :) Documentation Bug: There's an extra Pan Tool in there that points to 'V' underneath the Zoom to Pixel Size. I will let our documentation guys know about that. Some hidden one: If you have multiple documents/views opened in tabs then: Control + Tab = Show Next Document/View Control + Shift + Tab = Show Previous Document/View Mouse Wheel + Shift = Increase/Decrease value by tens Mouse Wheel + Option = Increase/Decrease value by tenth Shortcuts that will be in the next beta: Control + Command + F = Toggle Full screen TAB = Toggle UI Visibility
  14. If you have turned the feature on in OSX Preferences (General -> Close windows when quitting an app unchecked) then it will automatically restore all previous opened documents.
  15. This has already been implemented in the beta. :) This needs fixing. This is already available if you add it from your selection via the context menu.
  16. Document palettes are palettes that are saved with the document. One of the advantage (over global palettes) is that who ever you share the file with will also see the palette(s) that you have used. We are planning to include linked colours with this so there is still more work to be done.
  17. Clicking on the trash can with the layer selected should work with the app store version 1.1.2.
  18. The Apple Colour Picker is already in the menus but not as a shortcut key yet: View -> Apple Colour Picker...
  19. - Double click on the downloaded file to uncompress it. You should get a .afbrushes file. - In Designer go into the pixel persona since this is a set of raster brushes. - In the brush panel, click on the corner button to bring up the brush menu. - Select 'Import Category...' - Select the .afbrushes file.
  20. Yes. We will slowly get around into doing this. You should already be able to do that otherwise it is a bug. You need to make sure you allow Buttons to be tabbed to in the OSX system preferences - otherwise only list and edit boxes can be tabbed to which is the default when you install OSX. System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> All Controls If your button is the key focus then this is already possible as we just use the default OSX button behaviour.
