1) About Customer und User - because computer industry more young compare to other businesses like car manufacturing - a lot of terms have been borrowed from existing business relationship
Like : End User Price - means Customer Price. So, User & Customer almost the same if we r not talking about B2B & B2C concepts
2) About Joseph's beautiful essay - you seems much older than me - I have started my PC experience in 1996 & my Photoshop experience in 1998. All those ridiculous prices for software I remember.
And it was pure greed. And it generated The Pirate bay fenómeno as a result ))
It's not helping to progress - keep high price and limited offer - we all see dramatic changes now & more on the way.
3) The purpose of my post was to see how fair Affinity marketing strategy from real users needs - Black Friday - just the way to care about your customers - you care about your customers - they care about supplier
If you don't see the picture - fill sorry
And some customers can help with improvement of the product as well.
Check the history of BigMac - it was not a concept that has been invented by McDonalds headquarter ...
And a lot of ideas in Adobe - are not only from Macromedia and Aldus....
