Thanks David and RM. That solved it for me. No idea why I couldn't figure that out on my own.

I've marked some text to be changed to italics with ## in the original document (like ##this). When I do a Find ## in Publisher, I'm unable to locate any text marked with ##. What am I doing wrong?

It was a recurring Book Title / Author name at the top of each print novel page. The language, for some reason, was set to en-CA in the Master Page. How it got that way, I'll never know. I re-set the language for the two settings in that Book Title / Author Name Master Page, and all is well.
-
I found the problem. It was an author name appearing on every other page that had a requirement for the en-CA dictionary for some reason. I re-set the Character to en-US and it's good.

My Win10 operating system is set to US English. My Publisher software is set to US English. Paragraph is set to US English. Character is set to US English. Preferences/Language is set to US English. Why oh why oh why is Preflight telling me, ad nauseam, Missing dictionary for language (en-CA)?

the macro simply sets the dpi flag in the metadata. It does not alter the image size, so a 1200px by 1600px image remains so. I suspect that you really need to increase the image size (pixel count). What is the current image size?
It's not a big deal. I was hoping that I could just re-create the original 72dpi cover and do a back cover makeover for the print version, but it doesn't look to be possible. I was hoping for a shortcut, but I'm going to have to do the work. Like I said, no big deal. I've already done three, and I'm gaining valuable experience. I'm not sure why I thought I could magically turn 72dpi into 300dpi anyway. I should know better by now.

I'm in the process of turning some of my ebooks into print books that will be available for POD on Amazon and Ingram Spark. Many of my ebook covers are at 72dpi, thus I find I need higher dpi images for print cover output. Will your macros convert those 72dpi images into 300dpi for a print book cover?

Olivio Sarikas has a video explaining a dodge and burn technique/trick to simplify dodge and burn:

I too am huge fan of the Olivio Sarikas videos. Without him I'd have been lost in the swamp, since I don't have an Adobe past. He's quite a character, too. One doesn't have to join the book of faces thing to appreciate his tutorials.

I don't know if I'm contributing anything, but I had nothing to do so I opened both files in Pub and Photo. They loaded fine, I could manipulate them, and there were no crashes. (And the files are now deleted from my system.)
Win10 64bit, v1.10 of both, Graphics accelerator enabled.

Great tutorial. Thanks.

unless there was some file included with your original download that said not to redistribute them.
Someone else will have to chime in about that, as I exported them from Photo. I don't have the original folder, I'm afraid. It's lost to the winds of deletion.

No prob. It's not a copyright thing, I trust.

In that case, I am so glad I picked these up when they were available for all three programs.

So, what's this thread about? I seem to have lost the thread.

I'm not sure if this might be something you're looking for, but Olivio Sarikas has a video about putting an image on something round.

Isabel Aracama is amazing.

That's a very nice bokeh effect.

Have you disabled your anti-virus software and tried to open it?

You need to select Auto-translate.
-
Turn on CC (closed captioning). Then Settings / Subtitles / Autotranslate / German --> English or whatever you want.

A nice hard-tail panhead.

What? Isn't the iPad suite like 10 or 20 bucks each or something? You all want it free?
