  1. Thank you, and yes I am using (some) of CS5. I used to make my living as freelancer, however I am retired now. Although I still do art and photography for myself and friends. Because I have upgraded my OS, I lost Photoshop, and Illustrator is hinky. I also have to upgrade to Big Sur because my mac is acting weird. Again thank you.
  2. Thank you. I am leaving Adobe after many years, but I do use Bridge often, and like it. I am starting anew with Affinity's trifecta products!
  3. Hi, I am just getting started with Photo, Designer & Publishing. I am a years long user of Adobe Creative Suite, but I will no longer use them because of the monthly fee. I also use FontAgent Pro, which I will have to purchase an updated version. Before I do that, is there a font program that works well with Affinity products, or does it not matter? Thank you.
  4. Thank you Fixx, I am downloading it now. Call me naive, but what do you mean by saying "I don't now how much Adobe spyware is included"?
  5. Thank you all for your feedback, I do appreciate it. My problem is, that if I upgrade my Mac OS, I will loose Bridge and Illustrator. The reason I switched from Adobe products to Affinity, is that after years of devotion and thousands of $$$ to Adobe, they now want to nickel and dime you with creative cloud. I for one, refuse! So I will start looking for a DAM application. Take care and have a wonderful holiday season!
  6. I have Adobe Bridge, and just last week purchased Affinity Photo. My question is, do i still need Adobe Bridge? Is there a why to use Affinity Photo in the same way I use Adobe Bridge? One other question, is Affinity Designer the same as Adobe Illustrator?
  7. My printer worked it out for me, but I will try Affinity Photo. Thank you so much for your help with this!
  8. Graphics for a bulletin that gets printed for distribution to a group. The editor sends the graphics in color, either RGB or CMYK, and I have to convert to grayscale. The bulletin is printed in black ink. Thank you for answering me. Adobe has gotten quite expensive, and although I purchased the Creative Suite since version 2, they don't seem to care.
  9. I am a long time user of Adobe Photoshop, but I am retired and cannot afford their prices. Question: Can an RGB and CMYK file be changed to grayscale for professional printing?
