Thanks! Still have some troubles:  "Merge Curves " becomes active when I select layers inside the group, but does something strange (see the screenshot attached)

Layer > Geometry > Merge Curves

Thanks for advice, but  "Merge Curves" is inactive for me for some reason...

You might want to try grouping each vector bunch and copying-pasting those groups.

Here I copy the group of layers to the canvas, and when I add the 6th pic (group of layers) everything becomes super slow with "loading" icon. Resizing and moving them takes forever. So I can't continue adding the rest of pics.  Is that only me struggling with that?

Hi people!

I'm new to digital painting. Could you please advice!

I created around 13 vector pictures in Affinity Photo, each has a lot of layers.

When I try to put them together on one vector canvas I can't paste them (too many layers looks like they are too heavy).

I believe I have to merge the vector layers in each pic, but when I do "Merge Visible" AFPhoto merges it into a pixel layer. 

As I understand if I copy the pixel layers into one vector file the images inside won't be truly vector.

So how can I combine many vector pics on one vector canvas?
