Although the lack of free transform and autotrace, I must say I'm starting to become a fan of Designer.
I'm getting close to 100 h. working with this software and I don't regret buying it. Yesterday I even purchased Publisher.
I'm crossing my fingers for the 2.0 release.

Isn't there a workaround saving it as another format and renaming the extension to .ico?
I remember something like this from the last time I needed this ..

Though why can't I add a second stroke via the appearance panel to multiple objects at once?
I'd like to know this too. Any workarounds?

Hi,
I have a pixel layer that is transparent although it is at 100 opacity. there's no effects on the object.
I drew a vector shape over it in another layer, made a selection from that object, inverted selection, selected the layer I wanted to cut out en pressed delete.
The vector shape was transparent, but the selection was clearly around the edges.
I've been browsing around on the topic but can't figure it out. What am I missing?

+1 for a free-transform tool.
I was about to buy this software as a illustrator alternative. I love the workflow of this software but the lack of this tool is a deal-breaker.
Shame, I'll try the inkscape workaround.
Implement this feature and you are instant-heroes !

I must say I was bummed out discovering these features are missing too but to say they stop development makes no sense.
I'm watching a 1 hour video on what's new in affinity designer 1.9; maybe you should too.
And let's not forget the fact that it's a relatively new company.
Call me a fanboy but I'm greatfull for their work, they found a big gap in the market and did a great job filling it.
Adobe doesn't even support my old operating system and wants way to big a share of my earnings; easy choice for me.
