From another angle: Why the Affinity image editing, graphic design and page layout applications are needed for Linux An increasingly pressing reason for the need for such software on Linux systems is independence from the surveillance giants Microsoft and Apple. Many users are concerned about data privacy and increasing surveillance by large technology companies. Linux offers an open, transparent platform that allows users to have more control over their data and privacy. Professional applications like Affinity's would allow these users to do their creative work without worrying about surveillance or privacy breaches. Provided that Affinity's applications are not developed by Canva into a data octopus like Adobe's. On the one hand, the growing community of Linux users shows that there is a demand for high-quality software. For companies like Canva, the question is whether the Linux market is big enough and whether Linux users are willing to pay for excellent graphics software. The availability of Affinity image editing, graphic design and page layout applications on Linux would be an important step towards meeting the needs of a growing and privacy-conscious user community. The question is whether it is worth it for Serif/Canva, i.e. whether enough Linux users are willing to spend money on it.

For some people with physical disabilities who can only work with the mouse, it is impossible to open the Move/Dublicate window and work with it.

@Komatös Es macht keinen Unterschied wie ich speichere Baue ich es in der Aktuellen 2.0.4 nach, so funktioniert es ohne Probleme. Aber in der aktuellen Beta 2.1.0.1732 kann ich es so oft wie ich will nachvollziehen und es stürzt ab. Auf dem Rechner ist leider Windows 11 Pro (aktuellste Version). Ein starker Ryzen und eine GeForce RTX mit aktuellen Treibern und mehr als genug RAM It makes no difference how I save If I rebuild it in the Current 2.0.4, it works without problems. But in the current beta 2.1.0.1732 I can trace it as many times as I want and it crashes. On the computer is unfortunately Windows 11 Pro (latest version). When I place a Designer file in Publischer and then save the Publischer document, Publischer crashes. I have the files attached import.zip

I preferred the dropdown with the mask selection , but I could also live with a right click. Still better than the long long way over the menu layers

Maxximilian, you have Acronis on the machine, then it may help if Affinity in is excluded in the protection of Acronis. Also try disabling Hardware Acceleration under Performanse. I noticed that Affinity sometimes has problems with the RTX 3060.

In the German GUI, under Edit, the "Settings" item is in English. The correct term would be "Einstellungen". It concerns all three programs.
