cannot download the latest update on app store [urgent]

in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

hello!

I am unable to download the latest update on the mac app store – the circle animates forever, nothing happens. I'm on mojave 10.14.4 (and don't intend to upgrade).

since I can't update the publisher, I cannot continue with my work, as I'm getting files incompatible with my current version.

please help me
