Sure - but i still want to open an .eps and see the spot colours honoured. And vice-versa.
some people are still using Adobe right? -
Still need to honour spot colours in .eps file format
.eps is a standard format for distributing logos and other spot colour printed items since the year dot.
I've needed this since V1.
The colour palettes need to 'stick' with the documents too. I don't want to have to keep resetting my colours. -
Opening a legacy v1 publisher doc - you can't drag a guide.
Creating a V2 document - guides are just fine.

think this is a wider Apple Issue

All Affinity Products.
Mac OS Ventura latest version
Affinity V2
Opened a V1 file that uses 'superclarendon' font.
Affinity reports it as missing.
MacOS has the font this in 'supplemental' fonts but is not visible in fontbook.
Have installed a copy of Superclarendon into user account fonts
Still not visible in Affinity but is available in Apple 'Pages'
Have created a new file and tried to use Superclarendon - not available. -
Spot colour support in .eps has been standard since forever. You need to add this - it’s a standard format for delivering logos.
as you import an .eps or other doc into publisher then an option to import its colours too would be useful.

does it all the time now

Yes, but on some appliances if you press the button a second time it switches that function off.

Using the Character / Decorations panel:
Highlight a piece of text.
Click on a decoration (eg strikethrough)
Works fine.To take out the strikethrough you have to click on another button (plain/no strikethrough)
Would have thought clicking on 'strikethrough' again would remove the strikthrough too.

Colours on colour selector incorrect / not updating.
