I am relatively new to photo editing... how do I change a background colour in an image or make it a single colour.

I have affinity Photo and now learn there is Affinity Designer... is there an add on to Photo that is available for Designer or do I need to purchase Designer as a separate item.. Thanks Penny

Ok thanks good to hear I am not doing something wrong,,, the internet connection was very slow so maybe thats the cause... other than that I am really enjoying the Affinity programme.. Cheers

Hi I purchased Affinity and downloaded onto my Laptop and everything is good... I then bought replacement Imac and wanted to download Affinity on that also... the download started and ran through the whole procedure by then I got an error message to say the download had failed... please can you help and advise what I might need to do to get this working on my Imac. I am not using Yosemite on either computer and both are running on Mavericks. The Imac is also authorised as one of my computers. Many thanks Penny

I am a newbie to the editing process... I have an image in Affinity, saved the image to desktop but the image remains in the affinity pane... if I close the Affinity programme then try to open the image on the desk top it reopens the Affinity programme... I must be doing something wrong that I know will be a simple answer but at this point can't for the life of me work it out...
