  2. Ok, I thought I had read somewhere that the way to boolean on an image was to turn it into curves. But I searched and cannot find it so maybe I was dreaming. Thank you for the quick replies.
  3. Hi, In Designer I place an image, convert to curves, draw a shape (rectangle) partially over the image, then do a geometry subtract. The operation works, except the image gets all distorted. I also noticed other Boolean operations have the same effect (result in distorted original image). Am I missing a step or doing something wrong? I know I can do this with masks, but I prefer to use the Boolean as it seems like it would be less steps (although would be even better if I didn't have to convert the image to curves first). Thanks, -Bill
