  1. Hello, Thanks for your time and for the link, will have a look at it. If I find a quick fix and make the thing work I guess I'll go with it, though I got a feeling I'll end up just ditching the file and start over with the book. Thanks again for all!
  2. Hello Pixel and Callum, thank you both for your replies. This book that I'm working on was a project that I started a few years ago that the client ditched for some time, and lately he gave me the "go" to continue it, so I lost track of how/when/what happened. I just checked now, this book was originally created in InDesign (Adobe), and at some point I switched to Affinity, that's when I exported all my old projects into .idml, this book was one of them, so, I guess that's where all the issues are coming from. I guess I rather just start the book all over again, instead of having to always worry about bugs. Thank you guys again and sorry if I have wasted your time. On a side note, it would be nice if the team would look into this more, so in the future we won't have issues like this, because at the end of the day, if you export a file from a software to another, you expect it to work, not cause you bugs, because then it defeats the purpose of having multiple options of export.
  3. So I am working on a book, and I needed to add more pages at some point. When I tried to duplicate pages, some of the following pages (to the ones that I tried to duplicate) turned blank, and the pictures from those pages are gone. Sometimes the pages turn blank and the pictures move to the side of the page. The most weird thing is that, even if i UNDO, the pictures/pages don't recover, they stay blank forever, gone. I can't get work done, help me out, thank you. Carte Voivodeni 2.afpub
  4. I vote +1 as well, the shape builder tool is a must have in concept design.
  5. Thank you for your reply. I thought of that myself, not sure if I actually checked that or not (so tired ATM), will do tomorrow morning. Edit: Thank you very much, this was the case for me, it's weird that such an option is set as default. Thank you again!
  6. First of all hello all, I'm totally new to the whole Affinity thing, just bought the whole package, and I'm totally loving the apps! So, the issue at hand involves page numbering, I have a 300+ page book that I started a while ago in InDesign, made the switch to Affinity Publisher, with a proper IDML export (BTW for everyone importing IDML files into Affinity, I suggest before hand you go and change some performance preferences, turn everything to slow/low quality, also don't give Affinity all of your RAM or you're gonna have a bad time, actually I guess this should be done either way). I got to working on Affinity Publisher, had to readjust some text frames, no biggie, but then the issue appeared when I had to add some extra pages into the book, these extra pages are PDF extension, added through Affinity's "Add Pages From File..." option, it worked well without an issue, I noticed the pages didn't get numbered automatically from the master numbering thing, figured I'd delete the master and just add new numbering straight from Affinity (the numbering was imported from the original IDML master). So I did that, I added numbering in the master spread, all good, but when I scrolled down on my book, I noticed that at the pages that I have imported from the PDF file, the numbering gets reseted to 1, and then, on each section that I added new pages from the PDF file it does this, so now my book goes like 1-50, 1-60, 1-etc. till the end of it. Weird part is, it resets on the first page I added from the PDF file, and goes with the numbering till the next first page that I added from the PDF file. HELP.
