I think I can create a topic everyday for each freeze I get. Everytime when I'm zooming in/out.

Yes I just had a crash when zooming in for the first time today. Luckily the recovery file had saved only a short while before. Is there any official update for if a fix is being worked on?

You cannot open a V2 document in the V1 applications.
Once you save a document with V2 it cannot be later opened in V1.

Depends what you are doing but you can still copy between programs. Alternative is to export as a standardised format such as EPS or SVG. That way you can still work between both programs.

Maybe I'm just odd but I often work between affinity designer (because in v1 the performance, brilliant snapping tools, grid setup, UI was great) and Adobe illustrator (for select tools like warping, blend tool, pattern, shape builder etc) and have to save as EPS or SVG frequently or copy over and rescale if the dimensions change.

Probably best to stick to the latest V1 affinity designer if you have it. Didn't have any performance issues and rarely ever a crash on it.

Can always use v2 for any specific tools which aren't on v1 and then switch back.

  4. I'm pretty sure this isn't a feature that yet exists in affinity designer but thought it would be worth an ask. I worked on a design in illustrator a while back and the specific colour values aren't whole number percentages

    e.g.

    C 23.14%    M 38.43%   Y 55.29%   K 11.37%

When importing the same file into affinity, it appears to just round these off to the CMYK values to the nearest whole percentage.

    C 23%, M 38%, Y 55%, K 11%

It's not a huge difference but it is noticeable. Is there anyway to increase the accuracy of the CMYK values or prevent the rounding off?
