  1. Walt, OK thanks for confirming. Is this also mentioned in the release documents? I can't see reference to this, and it has caught us out this time round. Thanks,
  2. Hi, As per the title are 1.9 files on all products backwards compatible? Thanks,
  3. Hi, Just to confirm, before upgrading are 1.9 files backwards compatible? Thanks,
  4. Hi There, Just a quick update on this issue. We have found that if you press Alt or Ctrl then the UI / Menu reappears. Hope this helps.
  5. I just noticed that the windows filename changes to [Modified] after I use the keyboard to unlock the menus. Thanks
  6. Hi, I'm afraid not. Still the same. The other issue is the icons on the left also don't take focus when clicked, whilst this is happening. I've attached another video. Strangely in this one, one of the menus did drop down and then stopped again until I used the keyboard. Then back to normal for menu and icons. Test2.mp4
  7. Hi, I started recording just after I'd exported the PDF. You can see that menu's don't drop down and then I use Alt-V and they reappear and work normally. Thanks for your help. robert.wilson-14-10-2020-15-02-47.mp4
  8. Hi, I just thought I would update on this issue. Further testing using a Windows 10 Citrix desktop with a different time zone, GMT+1, replicated the issue. Using the same Desktop with GMT the issue did not occur. For me this seems to be a bug? Thanks
  9. @Gabe Thanks for your reply. We've done a bit more testing on this problem and the PDF export does complete. However once completed when you click on the top menu bar the Menu item selected gets highlighted, but the menu dropdown does not appear. If you then press Alt-W for example the menu dropdown will then appear and after that the menu is then fully functional. I'll try and pull a file together for you if still required. Thanks for your help.
  10. Hi, We are finding an issue exporting large Publisher files to PDF on Windows 10. When processing the export the application seems to hang, but we have found that we can still execute commands using the Keyboard, to save the file for example. We then have to kill the Publisher process and restart the app. Thanks,
  11. Hi, A quick update on this. The Citrix user changed her locality to UK and has UK time, but the problem persists. We have other teams sharing files and the same problem does not seem to occur, so maybe this points to Citrix? Thanks,
  12. Ha, yes Citrix is normally the root of most of our problems. Thanks for your help and the tips. I will try them and report back.
  13. So she is on a Citrix desktop based in London, the Citrix server is on the same infrastructure as the file server. But the Citrix client adjusts the time to her locality. The other users are local to the file server. Thanks for your help.
  14. Ah, we are on the right track. One of the users is in based in Holland in a different timezone. Is this a known issue?
  15. @haakooThanks for your reply. Wow, OK that is a big issue for us. Is this quoted in the software spces anywhere do you know? Does this apply to all Affinity products? Thanks again
  16. Hi, Thanks for the reply. Both users are accessing a file stored on a Windows file server through a shared drive. The linked files are stored on the same server in a single folder below the Publisher file location. The resource manager reports the files as modified and the images are blurred to the second user. Thanks,
  17. Hi, We have encountered a problem. Where 1st user creates / modifies a Publisher file, saves it. Second user opens the file and in resource manager will report all the links as Modified when they have not been updated. The images are also blurred out. The only resolution is to relink everything. Thanks,
  18. Hi, We have noticed that if you have the resource manager window open when a file is updated, the resource manager status does not update to Modified. If you close and reopen then the status will update correctly. Thanks,
