Hi, I am trying to adjust the Hue and Saturation level on a specific layer. When I high light that layer and go to HSL it adjust that layer and another layer. How do I only apply HSL to only one layer with out it affecting other layers?

I am trying to create a sunset with lines of different thicknesses going through it. I made my circle first, used a gradient. Then I laid some elongated shaped using the box tool. When I select them all and hit the Subtract (-) it produces this weird thing on the ends of my circle. What gives? I thought it should be straight forward. sunset.afdesign
