Master Pages visibility

I have a brochure with 180 pages and I want to add a text box to all the pages for a printed version.

I have added the text to the master page however it is not showing on any of the pages

Can I do this?
Any plans for PDF form editing?

I see I am not the only one looking for the ability to create fillable forms

I wrongly assumed this would be available
