  1. I am new to Affinity, and have used Adobe products for years. (like many people, I'm sure) There was a feature in Illustrator that I LOVED, where I could sketch something out, scan it, bring it into Illustrator, than convert it to vector. Illustrator would set all the points and curves for me. It made logos super fast and a lot easier to build. Is there something like that in Designer?
  2. Thanks! And I super appreciate the quick reply!!! I think the indent issue may be from a PDF conversion. I probably just need to build myself a clean template file to work from.
  3. I backed up the file and saved them at the point that I had these issues. see new files attached. Both issues are on page 4. I should also note that copy and pasting the text into a new text box did not fix the issue. unwasteful-sock-09082020-2-supersize_text.afpub unwasteful-sock-09082020-2-text-breaking-early.afpub
  4. I was able to fix it by creating new text boxes and retyping the text. In this process I found a new problem. When I linked the new text box to the previous text box, the font size of the text that had been in the new text box got super sized. I had to manually correct the size and spacing. As I did this, more text flowed up from box 2 to box 1. Every time, the text that had been in box 2 got very large. I have had this problem before too where it got very small instead of large. Totally baffling. unwasteful-sock-09082020.afpub
  5. Sometimes my text boxes misbehave. In the screenshot attached, you can see where it breaks after "If" in the first paragraph line. and again after "technique" and "compared". There are no returns or soft returns after these lines. I have no idea what is happening and it is super frustrating.
